The Executive Director is the primary link between the Chief and Council and all Government staff’s manner and achievement. Specific responsibilities include:
- Implementing the Nation’s Comprehensive Community Plan and Strategic Plan, within the approved budget, and within other limits defined by Chief and Council.
- Establishing and overseeing the government management team.
- Ensuring the development of, and regularly updating of, administrative policies and procedures that are consistent with Chief and Council governance and ensure operational and administrative efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensuring timely quarterly administrative reporting that includes updates for all departments and consolidated financial reporting (budget, YTD, and variance) with the ED’s analysis and recommendations.
