Communications collaborates with, and supports, Constance Lake First Nation and government departments, to improve communications with Constance Lake First Nation members, staff, the general public and government, industry and community stakeholders. Specific responsibilities include:
- Preparing and implementing communications plans that support our goals and activities as outlined in our Comprehensive Community Plan and Strategic Plan.
- Liaising with external partners, such as mining, on implementing communications protocol.
- Managing the production and distribution of all communications materials such as flyers, videos, brochures, newsletters, and reports.
- Coordinating media relations with Constance Lake First Nation members and writing and distributing press releases.
- Assisting in planning and implementing events held by the Nation and other partners.
- Providing advice and assistance in implementing strategies and tools to enhance community engagement with Constance Lake First Nation members.
- Managing the Nation’s social media and website.
