CHIEF AND COUNCIL
The Constance Lake First Nation Government is comprised of an elected Chief and six elected Councillors. They are elected by a ballot vote of registered members of the Constance Lake First Nation who are 18 years of age and older. They currently serve a two-year term. Each member of Council brings a wealth of experience and education in their fields of expertise that benefits our nation through their involvement in our committees, as well as their advocacy of Constance Lake First Nation through external boards and agencies.
Chief and Council is responsible for leading our members through the on-going development, implementation, and monitoring of culturally relevant laws and policies to fulfill our vision as Constance Lake First Nation members, protect our Indigenous Rights and safeguard our assets, for the benefit of all our members
We foster positive relations with all levels of government, and always aim to act in the best interests of our nation and our people.
